djm 4/5 help needed

2000 xlt 2.5

doing a djm 4/5 here in the next month

went and got rear polyurethane bushings

maxtrac 3in front lowering shocks 5in lowering shocks

running 235/70/15 on the front
225/70/15 on the rear

couple of questions before i do the install

anything i should know before installing this kit?

how long do you think it will take?

smaller tires needed or should i just get wheels and tires, if so what size?

any input is appreciated! thank you!

You can install the kit with pretty basic hand tools but if its your first time doing suspension work you should give yourself the entire weekend in case you run into problems. You also have to decide if you want to rent or buy a coil spring compressor which is safer than just using a floor jack to remove/install the coil spring. Im making a video series right now of me installing a 4/5 djm kit on my ranger along with rotors/pads and bearings. Check out the project log section to find the video

Just curious as to why the tires in the rear are smaller than the front ?
