Will it be needed?

I have a 2008 Ranger sport 4x2. I am looking to up the T-bars to get as close to 2 inches as I can. I also plan on buying the chevy 2 inch shackles from Summit. Will I be ok with the stock shocks or is an upgrade needed? If so please would someone link me to a decent, cheapish replacement option. I will not be offroading just far enough up a trail to drop off my bike.
Cheers

I wouldn't buy the chevy shackles, with those the truck still won't be level.

See, I like the way the truck sits as of right now, just wish it was a little higher. That is why I want to raise it in the same increments.

You won't be able to level the truck w/ those shackles. My truck was level w/ the stock 2.5" block, and cranked almost all the way bars.

But I understand.

I think he's saying he doesn't want too. The stock shocks will be fine.

Tires do alot too......crank them bars, put on your shackle or AAL, throw on some 32's or even 33x10.50's...tires really do help the look alot! Just a suggestion.

OH WAIT! You have a '08 2wd Sport? I have no confirmation...but I've heard those are coil-sprung in the front??

Stock shocks....your fine. But I suggest the yellow/blue bilsteins the used to come on the Fx4's....on ebay they are usually $245 shipped.....and GREAT shocks.

Just an F.Y.I. negative on the coil springs.
Cheers for all of the replies. And yes, I have no problem with the stance/levelling of the truck as it is right now just want to be like any other man and add 2 inches! :)
