Icon5 do i need to upgrade my gears or engine comp.

i bought a 6in superlift suspension kit for my 1989 ranger xlt 4x4 with a 2.9L V6. i was told that i would have to modify other things to decrease strain. wat would i need 2 upgrade thats easy and important.

a lift wont add strain, gear appropriately to the size of your tires and you should be fine...
