maybe a longshot, but bilstein 9100 coilovers tech?

Paging jason? paging trent? paging andrew?

does anybody have experiences here with rebuilding a bilstein 9100 coilover? Ive been looking all over for soem sort of rebuild manual with no success.

specifically, I need help figuring the depth for the divider in the resevoir and the rebuilding process. also, will I be able to buy a gallon of shock oil for a bilstein and use it in my SAWs as well?

Ive read billavistas coilover bible, but I need the exact specs for the bilsteins.

This is the best I've got when it comes to Bilstein...

http://www.fourwheeler.com/techartic...ing/index.html

If you ever need anything for the Sway A Ways though I can pretty much walk you through a complete rebuild of those shocks, as a matter of fact I just rebuilt my bypasses and have all four coilovers completely apart valving/rebuilding them.

The one thing I can answer though is yes, the shock oil is compatible. Its all basicly the same. I'm running King oil in my Saw shocks, and I'm pretty sure my front coilovers had Fox oil in them from the last rebuild (I didn't do it but it came out Red).

thanks jason I will read it, and I stumbled onto the article you did on SAWs as well. I wasn't sure, because I know there are different weight shock oils, but without a bilstein manual I dont know which weight it could take.

As for the Sway a ways, mine are still brand new so that will be a while, but I am thinking i may have to mess with the valving next summer, but wont know til I run them and see. I plan on running them at angles that would most likely make revalving necessary.

so a rep from bilstein somehow found my post on a local 4x4 forum, and is offering tons of advice as well as asking me to send pics of the tear down so he can suggest any replacements I may need.

bilstein=badass support!
