Do the trac bars effect your ability to flex at all?

no... only thing is it would limit to a point but not tones

I'd say it limits to a certain point...but that point you'll never hit. ALTHOUGH, with you having 6" lift springs, that may be different.

AAL, shackle, 2.5" stock blocks and duff bars....hard to tell but the rear is all twawked out....AND you can see the driver side bar.....

I have the traction bars and I haven't had any problems with them limiting my ability to flex.

No they are fine.

I see why they would be bent now.

It would fit just a little better with the bend.

I guess the older ones did have a bend but they changed it. Mine works just fine without the bend.

where can you find new bushings, i blew one out? i was thinking oversized swaybar bushings... would they work.

oh yeah, for the topic, the wont limit flex to a certain point like some said, but i managed to go beyond that- hence me needing new bushings. haha

Just got out and tested them out some. I can tell a HUGE difference. When I used to get on it the back end felt like it was jumping around. Now when I romp on it just sits the whole truck back, you can really feel it. You guys weren't lying when you said these things were great.

**Heads up. pic posted...that part that mounts to the spring hanger....i discovered mine bent while i was un-installing them this weekend with the new axle install.

they were defently worth it, i dont get the slip yoke clunk and more and my rearend dosent bounce all over the place like it used to, plus knowing they prevent axle wrap keeps peace at mind.. it seemd to help my open diff bite a little better too, its easyer to transfer the power to the other wheel if i need to.

After testing them out some more I think they do effect your flex. But not by much, maybe a few inches.

I've been looking at pics of my truck and you can see a small difference between the before tracs bars pics and the afters. It's not limiting the amount of up travel, but it is limiting the off ground tire from falling as much. You can see the difference by looking at the shackles.

Both are with the tire off the ground.

No trac bars. You can see that the shackle is angled more towards the front of the truck.

But in all the on road manners it gives the truck outweigh those few inches of travel I'm losing. Right now anyways.

A bracket is mounted on the spring plate using the existing U bolt for securement, another bracket is bolted to the front spring hanger via new drilled holes. A bar goes between both brackets, thus creating less wheel hop and axle/spring 'twist'.

Mine have been on and off and on and off because of lifts, or axle swaps, etc....and i notice a huge difference every time i put them back on. When they are off, I can't even tell if i'm spinning the tires around a corner..they spin so easy. After the install.....sure there's some hop still...but not much. The only hop that's there is because i'm a manual and the torque i'm putting to the rear.
