3" BL AND 33X10.50'S?

I got into an argument and i need to settle it. If i didnt have the susp lift on my truck and just had a 3" bl.....would my 33x10.50's fit without any rubbing whatsoever on factory backspacing wheels, and, if i put them on my current wheels (3.75 bs) would they still fit without hitting the bumper or fender lip. i know im right on theis on....i hope...i think.

Yeah, they would fit. People do it all the time. Neil has 33x10.5 on his FX4 WITHOUT ANY LIFT WHATSOEVER.

Actually, just notices you have a 4x2 which sits lower. You would need SOME kind of lift to fit. FX4's have about 2.5" of lift over your truck, making the 3" BL about right.

Yes. The FX4 may be a smidge higher (particularly in the rear) because of the heavier axle. But overall they are equivalent.

They are the same truck, just different badges.

My 33x12.50's on 15x10's w/ 4" of BS, rub and have crushed the crap out of the front of my rear fenders. But thats under extreme bumps and articulation. under normal circumstances you will have no problem whatsoever.

Which? Unless I'm mistaken, the XL & XLT 4x2 have coil front ends while the Edge and XLT 4x4 (including FX4 pkgs) have taller torsions up front and blocks in the back.. Similar, but different.

That's also the 12.5" width.. He asked about 10.5", which I hear fits far better.

Yeah i have the procomp spindle lift, but this is a purely me sayin "I could fit those even with a body lift" kinda thing, and someone disagreed with me. so 3.75 bs will still fit those in thar? w/o rubbing?

if you stick with a low BS you should be OK
they need to stick out more because the BL will not help you to clear the front suspension parts
if the BS number increases that brings the inside of the rim closer to the inside of the truck
this is normally required to keep a wider rim centered
a 10" rim, suggested for 12.5" wide tires, would likely increase the BS number by 1" or more and that might cause rubbing
purchasing a wider rim with a BS of 4" or less will likely prevent rubbing, but be very hard on your front end suspension

Yes 33x12.50's will fit perfectly with a 3in B/L on a 4x4. I only rub on extreme flex.
