fabtech spindle lift $

the price quote i got for fabtech spindles, AAL and shocks installed was $1200. is this reasonable or should i buy doestech and have some guys from here help me install it? ill have the 1200 at the end of either this month or next. i was gonna get gears, but i think ill do the lift now and gears and tires later. i have 32s right now so it wont look funny. and how are fabtech's shocks? i can get bilsteins for an extra $120

get whatever brand spindles you want but dont pay an extra 600 or so to have them installed. im sure theres enough members from cali that are willing to help and have plenty of experience with spindle lifts. and personally id just go with the bilstein shocks, but im sure the fabtechs are ok too.

yeah...thats is way too much. Are you aiming at getting nothing but fabtech? I spent about 350 on parts. I never had my stuff installed at a shop but i was quoted 200 and that included shocks. i'd say look around....and yeah im sure there would be people near you willing to help.

www.sporttrucksuspension.com is where i got my parts if your not to picky about brands.

gatorblue92 07-18-2007 04:34 AM

i spent less than that including new tires for my fabtech spindles

txboy11 07-18-2007 07:22 AM

i paid 650 for the kit... shocks, AAL, spindles and hardware

Spindle install wont take that long...im sure we can get a group together for that...

Go with Fabtech, it's just better than douschetech. I have procomp shocks so I'm to sure on how the Fabtechs perform but my brother has them and there just an entry level shock. As far as paying the extra 600 for install, don't do it. Alot of us along with myself can help you. Next weekend I'm going down to Ranger's house for the BL install. I you have the spindles by then you should come by.

redranger04g 07-18-2007 12:48 PM

i dont think ill have them by then, but by the end of the month i should. i guess ill build my own lift 'kit'. shackles and AAL froom justin ($60), fabtech spindle ($450) and bilstein shocks (around $200). so thats about $700. and we can do install. whats the cam and bolt kit, do i need it?

jared let me know when the meet is, i can probably come help if im not working.

txboy11 07-18-2007 02:14 PM

no you dont, mine still sittin in the garage, its for professional installers who do alignment for you as part of the install

nbro3232 07-18-2007 03:45 PM

for 1200 you should be able to get the 5.5 kit

redranger04g 07-18-2007 03:54 PM

DCRVP 07-18-2007 06:42 PM

I think I paid 400 for my pro comp spindles

heres the cheapest fabtech stuff I have found http://performancelifts.com/cgi-bin/cart/FTSEDGE.html
