call me crazy but...

Over time i have found my self in situations where I have been forced to haul loads with my 2.3L 09 ranger. Recently some of these hauls have been 3 different cars, 2 houses worth of furniture and few loads of dirt and gravel. As with the dirt came a tractor and not to mention all the snatching and pulling every time my brother gets stuck in his big bad ram 1500 4x4. figures my little ranger comes and has to save him lol but that's beside the point. I have have been given advice on many of the things i can do to prepare my truck to handle these situations but my rear suspension on holding these loads... as of now what i have been looking at is a set of Gabriel load carriers shocks with built on coils and adding a leaf to my current leaf pack not only for the support but to also add two to three inches. so i guess my question is am i going in the right direction or is there a better approach to this?

i have a friend that when he had his ranger was was pulling a small tractor and he hauls his dads dirt track car with it and i would suggest getting helper springs. it wont lift the truck or make the ride any firmer it just keeps from your truck from sagging so far down.

and if i was you i would be worried about wear and tear on your tranny hauling those loads

+1 on helper springs, I just swapped my hellwig 550s from my last truck to my '06 Ranger 4x4, they displace weight in the bed by only allowing the leaf springs to flex so far. I loved them on my Tundra and so far they work great on this lighter truck.
