getting rid of all blocks, what leafs?

as of now I have the factory blocks and 2" add-a-blocks stacked. I would like to get rid of both to where the leafs mount right on top of the axle to reduce axle wrap. However, I dont know enough about the leafs to know what to look for. any help would be appreciated on which to get, and wheather or not I need shackles as well.

oh, and what year explorers can I get the t-bars off of?

NOTE: I have yet to do this, so this is all in theory...

I have a set of F31 deaver leaf springs. They give a 2.5 inch lift with the stock shackles. My factory lift blocks are also 2.5 inches. The RCD setup calls for an AAL plus their gianormous shackles. I'm figuring RCD shackle + deavers = no need for lift blocks. I'm even contemplating trying to get the deavers on before I put the RCD kit on. That's one direction you can go.

you can take spings off a 1988-98 ( i think thoes are the years) and put them on our truck with some modifications and that wold eliminate the stock block, and add a checy drop shackel and that would give you more lift. search the site for chevy sping swap, there a quite a few people who have done it.
they also make a chevy lift sping that we can use on our truck with some modification.. zabeard has thoes
