Shackles on 03 Explorer

Okay guys I got some shackles and I was wondering if I could use them on an 03' Explorer 2 door. I put them up to the stock setup and everything looks to be the same size. Where is the best place to jack up the truck to do this?
Thanks!

Alright I need some help..havin a small bit of a panic attack. I went to change the shackles and sure enough the suckers wont work. Well when I had the side jacked up and I undid the stock shackle on the right side the leaf spring went over to the side as if the axle moved forward or something. When I saw that the shackles would not work I went to put the OEM shackles back on and Im just scared that the axle is cocked or something. I tightened it back up and the shackle looks straight and everything but Im just worried the axle is misaligned.
Somebody please give me some reassurance or advice please!

Im gonna assume you had the expo on jackstands on both sides and had a jack under the rear diff with a slight bit of pressure put on it to take the tension off. I did my 01 sport in like 20 minutes no problem at all. Jack it up and pull the wheels off and measure to find out if it moved.

second, to reply to your PM, all you would have had to do is search my threads, i have posted many times how i raised the tow hooks, exhaust and hitch.

when repairing cars/trucks all you really need is common sense, but thats a lot to ask of your generation.
Okay then you wanna do like this. First off the 03 explorer sport DOES have shackles..want me to take a picture? I did a lot of research on this and I looked into it before I did it. I just was suprised when that happened. Im not a freaking idiot i just had a question. But if you want to go into generations, maybe you should learn how to help without bein so ridiculous about it. All I had was a question..and to be honest I trusted your opinion after seein that you are ASE certified and I have seen a lot of your stuff up here on the forums. but instead you had to act like an a** and still not even help me.
I have plenty of common sense..Im just not dumb enough to be scared to ask a question. But thanks any ways I got help from somebody who didnt think it was that big of a deal.
