Help needed with front end!
Help needed with front end!
Since i changed the knuckles in my truck to 4wd, the camber looks like it is way off. I changed the upper ball joint on the passenger side, lower ball joints on both and tie rod ends on both. Probably going to do the other upper soon. I had it aligned to factory specs at my work (Chevy Dealership) but the wheel camber still looks way off. Its been eating my front tires. Do I need to buy a camber kit? and if so has anyone gone about installing these before? Thank you.....heres some pics of what im dealing with

its not horribly off, but it ate the inside of my tires rather quickly....might have to look up those specs. the knuckles were off a 98 4x4, do you think the upper control arm needs to be for a 98 4wd or my origional 03 2wd torsion? i thought they were all the same but i could be off
i thought 98's were torsion also? if so, then it doesn't really matter, but i would stick with 98 parts since that's what it came from. that could be the issue there. what year specs did you use 98 or 03? cause that might make a difference also.
yeah im pretty sure the suspension between the two should be the same, but i figured id ask. they pulled my vin and did the specs for an 03 when they aligned it....actually i never told them i did the conversion so they were probably scratching their heads for a few minutes. but id still think it would be the same....
