HELP!! - Swaybar
im in the middle of installing my bII bar. ive got the endlinks on and now im trying to connect the bar to the links, but the passenger side of the bar lines up to the hole, and the drivers side doesnt line up.
is the bar is supposed to mount INSIDE the endlinks? because if i try that on the drivers side, the gas tank is in the way and it forces it to be on the outside of the link, while the passenger side in on the inside |
try looking at some pictures..
https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...sway-bars.html did you play with the endlinks and mounting them sweeping in or out |
i did look at those pics, but i couldnt see the way he positioned the swaybar over the abs crap. but i got it all mounted right. after i put the plate that mounts over the flange on, it all lined up haha

in as few words as possible.. god dam...its like turning a light on in a dark room. complete change in my handling. i was pushing 70 thru 50 mph curves with ZERO body roll. time to get one for the front!!

it does.. but i think it has an issue that i havent givent attention to from when that honda hit me. since that accident it pulls to the right pretty bad. like if i let go of the wheel ill be in the next lane totally within 5 seconds.. not good lol.
and what i meant by one for the front was a 98+ 4x4 bar (thicker than my stock one) |
i had a bII bar on mine and i broke the RABS sensor clip....zip tied the sumbich on there!
|
zip ties and ducktape.. if you cant fit it with those 2 items it aint broke!
