HELP When changing out torsion bars on my 2010 Ranger for hight
I am interested in lifting my 2010 Ranger a couple inches. I was told to get the stock torsion bars and rear axle block from a pre 2007 ranger and simply swap them out. Is this true? If it is. What other issues will i be running into? What else will i have to replace and will this cause undue stress on other components?
Thank you ver much
I read through the thousand pages at the top about 08 riding lower but in the vast wealth of knowledge i didn't really get a definitive answer to these questions.

Yes, swapping to pre 08 keys and blocks will lift your truck an inch or so.
No, there won't be any extra wear/problems as Pre 08 rangers came from the factory setup this way. Your truck has the same suspension, just with re-indexed torsion keys
No, you won't need to change anything else. All you will need is the keys, the blocks, and a new set of ubolts.
Be sure to get an alignment afterwards.
