Does anyone know of a faster ratio rack for my '99 4WD ranger. I've read that 4 door 4wd rangers have quicker racks than my short cab, but searching on line I've only found one site that confirms that. Otherwise they are listed as all the same. Is the Explorer rack quicker? Are there any other options?

My V8 AWD short bed steers kinda slow.

 

Have you looked up part numbers for the same year of truck but with different trim options/configurations? That might help your investigation..?
