00' 2WD little over 100k, everytime i go over a bump or the truck hits a pot hole the front passenger side creaks alot, also when i'm driving down the highway it feels like the truck is pulling to that side, coils?, steering?

well about, 3 months ago I replaced the lower balljoints and inner and outer tie rods, got an alignment and they put a camber kit on the passenger side, also i pushed down on the front, its definitly coming from the passenger side, but i kinda feels like the upper control arm bushings, it looked like the control arm moved around alot on the bushings, could those be bad, and if so would i have to replace the whole control arm or do the bushing come by themselves

the ball joints from the factory are not greaseable, the "sockets" dry out, causing it to creak/squeak/pop.

100k is alot of miles, be glad you got that out of em.
some people only get 40-80k out of upper/lower balljoints.

Moog sells a replacement arm that will allow you to run removable, regreasable joints. That should make them last longer and be easier to replace in case you damage one somehow. I'm coming up on 50k and will probably be putting those on my truck soon.

get a rear sway bar (if you dont already have one) and maybe some traction bars.. because that sounds like wheel hop, my 2000 did that real bad before I got sway and trac bars.. honestly you might get lucky like I did and the upper ball joints be changeable without having to buy the whole UCA.

I got it I *think* at Jegs.com or maybe it was the other big online store.. but I was using the ladder type T-bars (Lakewood), you can also get the James Duff bars which mount in a different location and would probably be better if you do a lot of offroading, if not i'd get the lakewoods.

im confused now, are u talking front sway bar? bc im under the impression most vehicals have them? mine has them front/rear or trac bars what ever you call it

what you can do to check the lower ones, is jack the truck up by the cross member, and put a big pry bar under the wheel, then push the wheel up and see if theres a lot of play in the lower one ball joint, you may need someone to push for you so you can look.. my tolerence was like .030-.050? or something, and it was moving a good 1/4-1/2" lol

some trucks came with a rear sway bar, most didnt. None came with traction bars, you have to add those yourself. I was talking about adding a REAR sway bar which really helps a jumpy/squirrely back end.
