superlift ?

Well based on your profile info you have a 2004 ranger. The superlift is the cheapest 4x4 lift that you can buy and those go for about $1400 with out drive shaft. They are a decent lift for the price. I believe with that lift you still have the problems of the torsion bars. Dont hold me to it but with the RCD or Camburg I think you swtich to coils which are way better
After that there is the Camburg and the RCD. Most (99%) of the people on this forum perfer the RCD. They are great lifts. The are pretty pricey but worth the price if you got it.
I am sure others will chime in to add to what I have said.

Both lifts are good made lifts. The only problem with superlift is the torsion bars are pretty much in the stock location still. But it is cheaper than RCD. If you are just the occasional offroader then I would say go with superlift but if you are out and about a little more and take rocky trails, then I would say RCD because I would be afraid of ripping those torsion bars right off.

i personally hate how low the t-bars hang in the SL kit..
i shoulda had my RCD on 2 weeks ago.. but im still waiting..
but like everyone else said.. if your just the ocassional wheeler do the SL kit.. or if you do mostly mud the SL should be fine..
but if your more into it, and have the moola go with the RCD kit

This one ended up with deep scratches on the frame and t-bar cover. The last one was climbing over a three and a half foot pipe, immersed in knee to thigh deep mud. Scratched em up, but they never ripped out. Like I said in my last post, u end up giving up about two inches or so with Superlift, over RCD.

Well I hit my torsion bar skids all the time on rocks now (makes me cringe everytime) especially when you drop off a ledge and hits solid, and if I lifted my truck another 4 inches, I could get in worse situations than I do now and those bars hanging out in pretty much the same place is just bad news imo.
But if someone gives me a superlift I will take it with a big smile on my face. haha
