How to install lowering springs??

Has anyone ever installed lowering springs on a front end of a 2WD ranger? Im planning on purchasing some but I want to know if its something I can do myself or if I should have a shop do it?

put the truck up on jack stands.
Take the wheels off.
for the front...
Disconnect the shocks, tie rods, sway bar end links, lower ball joints.
Get a ball joint puller and pop the lower joint out.
Jack up the lower arm to get the spindle out of the way then SLOWLY lower the arm to get the spring out.
Do the opposite to get the spring back in.

i had a shop put my coils in because i didnt want to mess with them, and it cost me $120, i thought that was a good deal considering i already had the coil springs and i didnt want to mess with them.

Yeah I think I'm just going to have a shop do it as well. I don't feel too confident messing with my suspension lol. Thanks for the info/help though!

you can do it, I didn't know anything when I did mine and between me and my dad we had it knocked out in 4 hours.

I ended up taking it to a shop that had lowered another car I had a couple years back. My truck now has a raked look.
