how much lift do i need

I bought a 97 xcab ranger it has a body lift and a suspension lift not sure how much.
It has 33 12.50 15s and I would like the bottem of the cab to be 30-33 inches off the ground. What size springs do I need. Maybe f150 coils? Or ranger 8in lift coil springs .

I think it has a 3in body lift and 4 to 6in.suspension lift

What is the bottom of the cab at now?

I have a 4" suspension lift with no body lift and my cab sits 26" from the ground. So as above, what is the cab at now?

Also, just adding new coil springs won't exactly solve all your problems. You have a twin I-beam front end, so radius arm brackets need to be dropped down more so the driveshaft clears and the differential brackets need to drop down so you have proper suspension alignment.

About 25/26 in the front at the back of the wheel well and 26/27 in the back at the front of the wheel well. And that's with 33s ands they measure about 31 ½ from the ground to the top tire

Well the cheaper option would probably be body lift, but the proper way is to do a suspension lift. I have a 4" suspension with 30's and sit about the same level as you are. So, most likely you have a very small lift, if any at all. I would get a 4" suspension lift since you already have a 3" body lift.

It looks like stock leafs and stock 4x4 block with a 2in block under it.I don't think it has a add a leaf it has 4 total including the over load one at the bottom. In front it looks like radios arm drop bracket about a 3in drop bracket for the bumpstop and like a 4in drop plate for the driverside ttb that goes to the passenger side tire and the passenger side one from the crossmember to thethe bottom is about 11in.

The guy told me it had 7ina total lift I think it was months ago and he wont answer my calls

Is that from the bottom of the rocker panels or floor of the cab

......how old is ur lift I heard that after a while it settles and u don't have asmuch lift as u first did when it was installed
... so maybe mine has all the drop brackets for a 4-6" lift but not the springs ..and maybe I have 3" body lift( I no for sure o just went out and measured the body lift blocks) and maybe a 1" lift

Go out and take a LOT of pictures.... then report back. Someone should be able to tell you what you have on there.

Ok I will. But may be a few weeks I got it on stands right now to replace my drop bracket that broke of a mounting tab. On the driver side I beam that leads to under the passenger side

Yes that is at the rocker panel. My truck's cab and bed sit level all the way around, and my lift is only a few months old with about 7k miles on it (I believe).
