No. Your fine!!! I have a 2004 Ranger 2wd Edge. After i bought the truck brand new, i saw exactly what you see now. My drivers side bolt was alot different from my passenger side bolt. So i went to Ford and asked them about it. They said that it was fine, and completely normal. So, actually about a year after that, i cranked my torsion bars. I have always heard never to crank them more than 2-3 inches. I think it was about 5 complete turns on the bolts, and my truck was leveled out. The ride is a little stiffer, but i think it makes it feel a little more off-roady. Know what i mean??? Oh, before you crank the t-bars, make sure you get the truck off the ground first, i.e. put it on a lift or on jack stands. Hey, have fun and send us pics and tell us how you like it. Later.

I forgot to add something. For that Drivers side bolt, just use an extention, and you wont have any problems! Anymore questions, just ask.

Edge models have torsion bars not coil springs

To reduce the stiffer ride, ditch the sway bar...unless you strictly do mall and curb crawlin...then its not worth the added risk of more understeer and body roll.
