well

i did the trortion lift but on the passengers side it went up to 37

and on the drivers side it went to 35

is something out of place

zabeard 07-03-2006 07:46 AM

did you crank them all the way?

i wouldnt recommend more then 4 turns per side.

the passenger bolt is longer than the drivers side. so if you took them all the wya in the passenger side would be higher.

un crank the passenger side bolt.

what is the biggest side tire that you can fit without the tortion lift

lifted97ranger 07-03-2006 08:00 AM

in a 4x4 a 31" tire

WELL IM SURPRISSED THEN

I HAVE A 265 AND IM THINKING OH GOING 305 ON THE TRUCK

WITH NO TORSTION LIFT

lifted97ranger 07-03-2006 08:07 AM

you can do it but it will be tight.......if you are going to do any kind of off roading then you will have a problem with flex because the tire will hit the fenders and prolly tear either a tire or a fender up...

emericax21 07-03-2006 08:11 AM

well im retiring the truck because its a daily driver and because.........

2 transmitions
1 axle
1 tailgate
1 bumper
to much money and i want to get an older one to offroad on weekends

zabeard 07-03-2006 08:26 AM

you can fit a 285/75/16 pretty easy.

what size wheels you running?

how many inches did you raise it

TXranger4x4 07-03-2006 04:57 PM

no way i have 31s and i cranked my T-bars all the way (35").....and i think i can fit 33s from what it looks like

lifted97ranger 07-03-2006 05:00 PM

yea but the more you crank the torsion bars the more wear on the front end and the stiffer your front end is

TXranger4x4 07-03-2006 06:50 PM

OffRoad 4x4 07-07-2006 09:00 AM

Ditto on the 265s on the factory aluminum 16" rims....
Make sure you have a quality set up shocks or.... you run the chance of rubbing when offroading...

OR 4x4
