Installing new keys! Need some help

Im putting torsion keys in my truck hopefully today. I am wondering how much time its going to take to swap them in. And is it really difficult? I watched videos and stuff about it and it doesnt seem hard not very time consuming. And last can I aline the front end myself?

So how was the install? I've tightened mine to where I have about a 2"-2.5" max lift factory, but was considering these in the past. Many people said no due to the added stress they add to the bars and the possibility of over tightening and sag of the bars. Eventually, (2-3 years), the truck will become the toy and I'll get the Dixon Bros front suspension and Deaver springs in the rear.

Question about the install: Did you just use a big C-clamp to compress the keys?

Don't install aftermarket keys. It's a waste of money. Just crank your stock ones

I got about 3-4 inches out of it and I used a ball joint press to compress them. When doing it though on the passenger side you have to put a jack under the exhaust and lift it up an ich or so to get the press under it. took me like 30 minutes to figure that out lol

I don't think we did that on mine. Not hard to do thou, took us 3/4 hours and that was front and AAL for the rear. Plus slurpee break.

Yea, a c clamp can be used.

When we did mine, all we used was jack stands, and a jack. I had used pb-blaster on all the bolts and keys for weeks leading up to the change. We used the jack to push up on the keys to slid out the bar that holds them in place, then a rubber hammer to knock the keys off the bar.
Did rear leaf swap and keys in less than 4 hours.
