2011 Ranger 2wd Lift Stability Advance Trac Question
Hi and Thanks for your help.
2011 Ranger 2wd with coils.
Looking at Fab tech 5.5" lift. Spindles and coils and upper arm kit.
Fab Tech and 2 other lift companies say they do not make a lift for after a 2008 Ranger.
They say the Advance Trac system will trigger limp mode and other code problems.
Has anyone experienced this?
Thank you for your reply, Robert.

Limp mode???...........that IS Advancetrac
Read here on how to disable Advancetrac, it is a one time OFF, each time you restart vehicle you have to do it again.
See if you even care about Advancetrac
But I doubt lifting vehicle would disable it
There is Advancetrac ESC and RSC, RSC is roll control and you may or may not have that
But it is all pretty much part of the ABS and as long as you keep that in tact you should be fine

I also have a 2015 F350 with a 8" lift. " I THINK " I know what they are talking about..... In my F350 when I get off on a freeway ramp that has a good radius and I hit the brakes a little too hard .... the ABS brake system acts real weird. Never happened before the lift. Not sure if that is what lift companies are concerned about.

I would imagine there is a sensor, maybe two, that gives the Advancetrac the body position relative to level ground.
Like on a boat in waves the higher above the water you are the farther you "roll", so if you are raising this/these sensors higher up with a lift then what was a 2" roll changes to a 3" roll so it throws off the system
