Leaf Springs

I have a Ford Ranger 2002 XLT V6 4.0 SOHC 4X4. My question is, i have a passenger side leaf spring broken and shackles. i would like to upgrade to a 1/2 ton instead of 1/4 ton. Does anybody know if a ford F150 (or something similar ) leaf spring will fit a ford ranger with out any customizing, not really looking to get a lift out of it, a little is ok .

swap them for chevy 1/2 ton springs.. commonly called 63 inch chevys.. it does involve moving the front hanger forward 6 inches and will provide you with 2.5-3 inches of lift... so just remove the stock block and then you will be back to normal... you will have to do some grinding, drilling new holes or welding to complete the swap

you could try explorer springs. supposedly if you leave the lift block in there, you get a few inches.

you could also look at your door tag, get your leaf pack code, then look for stiffer springs at a junkyard/car-parts.com.

I'm half-heartedly looking for some stiffer springs so I can put more in my bed.

i just got some 08 4.0 4x4 "k" springs from "KLC" .... hope to put em in later this week, the ones that came with the truck didnt last long, then my dumbass puts in junkyard specials off a 93 ranger, those lasted all of 2 months before they started sagging.
