Yes, it causes premature failure of your torsion bars. I'm on my second set and I'm not the only one.
Probably only a problem for more extreme drivers -- but when they are ed more, they twist more at full compression than they did at their normal position. Over time, this fatigues the metal and they sag.
Also, it's supposed to be hard on balljoints -- but our trucks have a crappy balljoint system anyway.
