New Shocks Installed

Well Sunday after a bunch of driving around to get my new shocks, since 1 store only had the rear and there other store had the front, i finally got them installed.

Bought me Some Monroe Sensa Trac shocks. My old shocks were bad, i was able to push them in and out with my hands with no effort, the front.

When trying to get the nuts off the front shocks the bolts broke, so i had to take a sawz-all to the nuts to get them off.

Backs were fairly easy.

So far im satisfied with them.

Not to burst your bubble but ya should of went ahead and got ranchos for just a few dollars more, they are made by the same company. I had sensa tracs on my 99 and i HATED them. Too soft for me.

I thought about it, but i didnt need anything too hard...I do mostly highway driving, and very seldom i'll have it off road.

But being my first set of shocks ive ever had to replace i didnt know what ones to go for, so i tried some, and next time i need some, i can try those.

I see your point. If its a pavement pounder I would have a softer shock as well, but I do moderate offroading so I had to go with somethin a lil stiffer. Those Monroe's should be fine and give you a comfortable ride.

Thanks for the input, becuase when i bought them i was tossing around the Sensa-Trac, and the Reflex (which i've read are the 2x4 version of the Rancho's)

But talking with the guy, and knowing i would be highway driving, with very minimal offroading (since there is no where around me that i could do that) he told me i would be fine with them.

Plus i was able to get them for about 32.00 a piece wih a $20 mail in certificate to use at the auto store when i get it mailed in.
So at that time i'll put that towards some new Plug wires or something
