Lifting ranger for first time and want some advice.

Im pretty new to cars and trucks as it is, I want to get into some 4x4ing and want some advice on lifting my 2006 Ranger. And I came up with a way, I think. Browsing the internet I found these puppies.

98-11 Ford Ranger TT Fenders - FiberwerX Off Road Fiberglass

Beautiful. This something I will be getting. They allow 35" tires with just a 2" lift on the torsion bars. But then I found this.

98 11 Ford Ranger Sport 3" Lift KIT W Superlift Shocks 4WD 4x4 ADD A Leaf | eBay

According to ebay they are made by Super lift, the guys that bring you that wonderful $1600 4" lift kit.
Now here is my question: Will I need a different drive shaft with the 3" ebay kit? What are your thoughts about it?

Hmmm... I've seen this kit for sale locally and am also wondering about it. Nobody has opinions on it?

For an easy 3" look into a body lift $200. If you're wanting a couple more after that, you can crank your torsion bars up some to clear the tires you choose. For the rear, I'd suggest an aal like Tough Country offers. Its a good kit from them and only about $55

I don't think I want to do a body lift this time. I had one on a previous Ranger. Anyone actually have an opinion on the link OP posted? I specifically want to know if it would add unnecessary wear on any suspension components.

The lift looks like just keys to me from the picture. Would not recommend

Yep. That kit is nothing but lift keys, AAL, and shocks. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

You can crank your torsion bars for free to get the same result as the keys.
Get an AAL from Tough Country like Dewey said. Popular mod and inexpensive.
Replace your shocks with Bilsteins. They're better.
