body lift tow hook question

i have a 2008 B4000 i am wondering if i body lift it will i have too remove my front tow hooks? or will a 3 inch lift put the hooks under the bumper? or will they sit fine with the lift?

I think you'll have to take them off but im not positive. on mine i just cut the valence a bit and they sit fine haha

^ What he said. You can take them off, but you can just cut the valence a little and they will be good to go.

i know my buddys 99 ranger has f150 tow hooks on the bottom on the frame... it looks like it works for his body lift... i never really looked in to it ..

are you can mod the hooks to work with the lift i didnt want to cut my valance for the hooks cause it looks bad to me

You could always get rid of the hooks and weld in a front hitch. Just cut a section of the front cross-member out and.... well there's more to it than that but you get the idea.
