Lift Blocks stacked on Factory Blocks
 

I have been looking into lifting the rear end of my Ranger 2-3 inches and I was planning to use lift blocks but after a little looking I realised that the my Edge model come with 2" factory blocks already. Would it be reasonable to stack these blocks safely? If at all? She doesn't really go off-road if you guys think that would factor in at all.

If this thread already exists please point me in the right direction!

NO NO NO! DO NOT STACK BLOCKS! Its a dangerous thing to do especially since the blocks can separate and be "spit out" plus you will have terrible axle wrap due to the blocks. Shackles are a better option.

An add a leaf will net you 2" of lift, and shackles will net you either 1" or 2" of lift depending on where you set them. Both of those are much better options than stacking blocks.

Thanks for the replys! The more I thought about it does seem very sketchy. I think I will go with the either the shackles or the add a leaf. I also know that the 4x4 option's block is a half inch taller. Would it be worth while to switch that over in conjunction with one of the other options?

Blocks are a bad idea in the first place imo, that's why I ditched them

+1 for shackles and AAL...

Blocks alone are a bad idea.

Stacked blocks are a disaster waiting to happen.
