i got a stock 98 2wd xlt do i have torsion bars and what is the easiest way to run 35s

 

do you want them to rub of clear properly? haha

rub is easy, body lift and crank the t-bars but mine rubbed like crazy up front, i didnt dare flex it out.

properly, 3" BL and RCD or Superlift

he doesent have torsion bars. you can get a 3" body lift, but with a coil sprung suspension plus body lift i dont even think you can fit 33"s.

 

i fit 31s stock with no rubbing

 

31 is the max size you can fit according to the tire size guide on this site.
I don't know anything about lifting coil spring suspensions, someone else will have to chime in.

 

what if i did a bl 3in bigger coils an add a leaf in back what could i fit and maybe a spindle lift all that you think 35s or am i gonna drop cash with a real lift??

 

I bet if you get bigger coils and spindles with a body lift you can run 35s. On sporttrucksuspension.com they sell a 6/4 lift kit for your ranger. that would be 9 inches of lift with a body lift. I'm almost positive you can run 35"s with it, i'll let someone who knows for sure guarantee it.

 

I you are dead set on running 35s you are goin to pay for it

your gonna want to regear for sure. you probably have 3.73s

 

what gears should i get i wanna do burn outs with 35s if possible

just kidding but i want to be able to keep my same driving habits

 

probably 4.30s

 

at least 4.56s, if you have the 3.0L or 2.3L you may want to go lower than that
