Ball joint mess

Ball joint mess
Any ideas how to get the the ball joint back on? Its ontop of the spindle. Ive tried whackin it with a hammer and it just wont go back in!

tried ever freakin possible thing and it just will not go in

problem solved. i had no hammer room. i took the the control arm off and hit it in with little difficulty. hope this helps anyone!

With a hammer.....ouch. Did you at least use a block of wood or just directly hit the BJ?

You can get rent a ball joint tool at Autozone or Advance, I used one to do the BJ's on an Explorer.
