2wd suspension lift

hey guys! new to this site but in need of some help ive had my ranger for a couple months and have been wanting to lift it but ive heard some lifts can be bad for 2wd. i want to get anywhere from 4-6 inches. any ideas or recommendations?

(98 ford ranger 2wd 3.0 stick)

Body lift 3"

Spindle lift 3"

Coil Spring lift 1-3"

Any combination of those will work. The coils will make the roughest ride though.

cool thanks. how much would a spindle lift and a coil lift cost?

I would do a Body Lift if I were you. I have a 2004 2wd and put a 3" on from summit. It looks great and was easy to install. Took around 8 hours start to finish.
