Yeah. The t-bar setup definitely doesn't lend itself to lowering real well. Only real way to do it is to cut it out and switch to Coilovers.

i hate lowering tbar trucks.
as for the OP, just put in 2wd shocks

2wd shocks is all you need. thats what I used when I lowered my 02 4x4

2wd shocks is the way I'll go, got to stick to the KISS method. Time to score some u-bolts as well.

order them from ford. I did it on mine and i think ubolts and nuts was around 50 dollars (this was about 4 years ago)
