lowering kit....

ok, so, i finally got a job now. and i wanna lower my truck, so ifound this kit at summit, the DJM 3/4 drop kit

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

so, i was woundering, will this stiffen up the suspension too? or just drop it and still have loads of body roll?

it will not stiffen up the suspension as it has no effect on the springs.

the shocks are probly valved differently due to the reduced suspension travel to help prevent bottoming out. this will effect ride quality.

the drop itself will change the CG(center of gravity) and RCH(roll center height). both of these changes will have an effect on body roll and sway.

FWIW, i had beams and a flip kit on my 89 and it rode and handled better w/no sta-bars than my 97 did at stock height with both front and rear sta-bars. i didnt use those shocks though, i dont like the ride of "drop" shocks.
