Where can I get these? PM please if you don't want to post it in the open.

sawred 02-04-2005 03:31 PM

Nevermind, I found the source, or a source atleast with the same prices, so it's probably the source.

There is nothing wrong with posting a link to any website. Posting your own website, to solicit for sales is another thing. Basically don't turn R-F.Com into an advertisement. We just don't want people who join up, make 1 or 2 posts that are all about their website/service.

"Please do not advertise a company or service in your signature or posts. Product reviews are different than advertising. If you wish to advertise your product or a product you sell, contact Trevelyn1015 and receive written permission first. Failure to do so will result in losing membership privilages"

MOOG PART#K8771T
Frt Susp; Lower 2WD Enhanced Design
Balljoint 29.79 ea
Do us 2WD EDGE guys get the 2WD Lowers or 4WD Lowers?

EdgeRat33 02-25-2005 02:51 PM

Ordered Moog P/N K80012 upper ball joint last friday....
Got them in today
YES!!! They seem to be right...the part that goes into the spindle is the right size...now to just get some aftermarket control arms to put them in...

I hate to say it, but I think I'm gonna have to get the ChassisTech/AIM adjustable control arms, cuz they are the only ones that are adjustable and can accept the new balljoints. I'll let everyone know how that goes.

sawred 02-25-2005 02:59 PM

Why didnt you just get the MOOG Upper Arms?

Anyone know if the 2wd EDGE gets 2wd or 4wd Lower Ball Joints?

EdgeRat33 02-25-2005 04:27 PM

the reason I don't plan on getting the moog arms is that I would have an easier time using the 'other' control arms in adjusting them for my caster/camber than going through the same crap I've gone through with modifying the stock control arms

EdgeRat33 02-25-2005 04:29 PM

and the 2wd edge would use the same lower balljoint as the 4wd Edge and non-edge

K8695T MOOG LOWER BALL JOINT

Rangerboy03lvl2 10-10-2005 02:03 PM

MOOG is awesome, that is what is on my truck right now!! Nice choice!

n3elz 10-10-2005 03:58 PM

2WD non-Edge, 2WD Edge, 4WD Edge, and 4WD non-Edge ALL use the SAME lower ball joint -- the same crappy, failure prone lower ball joint, lol...

Only the uppers are different. All the t-bar ones use the same upper, regardless of wheels driven and the coil sprung ones use the ones with the smaller stud that goes in the spindle.

This is for 98+ trucks.
