Lifting a 1989 Ranger on a budget. A quick re-check

Okay I'm new here but am getting a 1989 Ranger single cab 2wd this week. (If the deal goes through good)

I've always been a lowered guy and have had 2 lowered Silverados, a lowered Tahoe, and my DD now which is a Honda S2000 on springs..

I want to be sure this will work.. I know it's a budget lift but I still want it to work. LOL.

If I get a 2" lift spring, 2" leveling spacer, and 2" rear blocks I should be sitting at about an inch lower in the rear?

Also, I'll be running some 31" tires and hope to have them poking out the fenders from backspacing on some cragar soft 8s or similar. Will I need to trim?

I want a little lean in the rear even though some people do not like that. (different strokes for different folks)

31's should be fine.

I would get some 3" or 4" springs and axe the spacer. But I am not sure how that will work with aligning it. Might be tough to get it aligned.

So with springs and spacers aligning it will be fine?

4" suspension is 4" suspension. Doesn't matter what you use. I'm not sure if it would be hard to align or not. Not super familiar with aligning a gen 2.

Okay cool thanks. As long as I can get the alignment close I'll be okay. I'll only be driving 1 or 2 times a week at most.
