More lift

I have a 3 inch bl and ordering my sl on monday could i still but shackels on and get more lift arter the sl ?

rangerboy101 06-19-2008 11:25 AM

yes. but then you have to lift the front to level it out. that's only if you want it leveled though. it looks better imo.

ok what dose is take to make the front level ? my t bars are cranked all the way now

So your trying to put the shackels with the 4in sl blocks? If so I dont see a way you would be able to get the front level without SASing the truck

instead of using the lift blocks for the rear, use chevy drop shackles and AAL

then you dont really have any other options. if i were you i would just leave it. if the backs lower then the front then yes... put the shackle in there. but if it's already level then i would just say leave it.

That's what I did instead of stacking blocks.

My buddy has the SL and stacked blocks in the back, and his front is slightly taller than the rear. B bars and K leafs. My SL isn't cranked all the way(only like 60%), and with the short AAL, belltech 6400, and stock blocks, it sits very level....a very very small rake with the rear a tiny bit higher than the front.

You can swap out to #1 bars(highest spring rate) and those will allow alot less sag. I now have #1 bars.
