Superlift Problem

Since i got my Superlift installed a few weeks back i have started to notice a clicking noise coming from the passenger side front, and it has progressively got worse. I only notice it at speeds of about 25mph or less, when i start rolling, and when i come to a stop. I have inspected it like crazy to find out what the hell it is, but cant seem to find the problem. Can anyone help me out or direct me on what i should do.

Would i feel it through the steering wheel if it was the cv shaft or would it cause my truck to ride rough? Cause it rides smooth and i dont feel anything.

And when i jack the front end of my truck up and spin the wheel the noise isnt there.

Check your sway bars links. I know mine make a lot of noise.

I always found my sway bar links to make more of a clinking/clanking noise than a clicking noise. I had a problem with a strange click so I pulled the wheels and cleaned up the hubs with some steel wool where there had been some surface rust and that worked for me.

My guess is you cranked your torsion bars too much and that put stress on either a CV joint or something like that.

After we installed my Superlift fron DS it made a clicking noise from the front end at low speeds. After looking it over we noticed the shims for the bolts were overlooked and not installed. We installed them and tightened everything down and it went away.

You might want to make sure those small bolts are tight...

Ok, after i did some further inspection i found out my driverside wheel bearing was bad so i went ahead and replaced both hub assemblys. I also removed my sway bar because i got tired of hearing it clunk everytime i hit a bump. But the noise still has not gone away. The other day I removed my CV axle to check it and it seemed to be fine there was no play in it at all.
I also uncranked my t-bars to put the CVs at a better angle but that only made the noise worse. So i ended up cranking the t-bars back up. But i still have the noise and it wont go away.

I took a video of it, mabye one of you guys can help me figure out what the h*** is wrong with my POS.

If it helps any the noise gets worse on the driverside when i turn left and when i turn right it goes away on the driverside. And the passenger side gets worse when i turn right and goes away when i turn left

I never heard a thing out of my cv's until I had the wheels turned going over a small hump or bump. Then I'd hear an obvious clack-click-pop'ing noise.

Then again that damn flow 40 out the side kinda covers up any other noise my truck would make.

It sounds like the cv joint but I never heard that sound specifically. Like I said, all you can hear with my truck is the jba's and flow40.

My truck would only make the crunching sound when I had the wheel turned to the dr. side(left). I never heard it when I turned the wheel to the pass. side(right) and drove over some bumpy surfaces.

I did beat the snot out of my truck right before the cv snapped. Not to mention the fact that I neglected to say I was running through the field in 4LO @ 30-35mph going through 'whoops' and I jumped the truck three times in 4HI......lmao.

Just a guess....Do you have PV Hubs still? my hubs sounded like that when they went out. Then I replaced them with the AVM's and no more sound. Also the other sound that could make that noise is the Hole front hub Assembly. It has the berring built into it. And with the Larger tires it puts a lot of strain on thoes hub assy.. Both of mine went out not to long ago. About a month appart from each other. I was running 35's

that has to be CVs.

only other thing might be is driveshaft? you still have the stock one? also which ever driveshaft you have take it off see if the noise goes away

did u install the lift yourself? or someone else? either or check all bolts!

I still have the stock driveshaft, but it is definitely coming from the wheels, not driveshaft. I had someone get in, and drive real slow while i listened for the noise. And if you put your hand on the center cap you can feel it every time it clicks.

I had a shop install my lift(worst idea ever!!). I have brought it back to them like 5 times and have had every one of there mechanics look at it and they tell me they cant figure it out. I have also checked all the bolts and none are loose.
