mx6 shock question..

just scored a pair of rear Procomp MX6 shocks for free from my friend who took them off his GMC Sierra.

i went to install them, but inside the top mount bushing, the little metal ring is too small for the shock mounting stud.. and it would fit fine if that metal ring was bored out or something.. but before doing so, does anyone know if someone sells different size top mounts for those shocks?

take the metal sleeve out and shove the shock on teh stud.
the stud has the thickness that will take up the space the sleeve does.

that's what I was going to do if I couldn't bore it out to a bigger width..

it doesn't need that metal sleeve?

its there for other applications, u can run it just with the bushing.

when i ordered my es9000s they sent a bunch of extra **** and t include 2 diff sized "sleeves" to go in the bushing, this is for diff applications on trucks. u dont need one, just use the bushing.
