Mysterious Squeak (maybe a chirp)
My 97 Ford Ranger has a mysterious squeak (maybe you could call it a chirp). I say mysterious because when I'm driving and hearing it I can't seem to pin point if it's the front, back, left, right, etc. Not only that, but I've sat and turned the steering wheel, pushed down at all tire area's, pulled up and down on the bed, and I can't reproduce it. BUT, while I'm driving around it seems quite often when the truck chassis kind of rocks and bounces going over bumps, dirt roads, etc it's squeaking...
Any chance anyone has gone thru this or may just have a good idea what it may be?
I'm going to spray a little rem oil or something on the shocks to see if maybe it's them, but you'd think they'd squeak at least a little when I'm pushing down on the truck and jumping up/down on the bumpers, etc.
Anyways, just wondering if someone may do the been there, done that, check this/that and the other out type thing...
Thanks...
