new shocks
KYB Monomax. monotube design, no shock fade, cant go wrong. These shocks are specifically designed for vehicles with high center of gravity. Everyone else here on this forum is gonna say ranchos(twin-tube design) or bilstiens. You can be like every other Ranger or stand out in a crowd.
Monroes and skyjackers...

kyb's and bilstiens, kybs are red. Notice the floating piston on both shocks. The KYB piston is made of pure metal while the bilstien piston is made of plastic, which one do u think will crack or break first? Also, note the thickness of the walls themselves. I just think the kyb is better built and a better performing shock. There was a guy with a 98 ranger that went wheeling with us this past weekend and you could tell that my rear suspension flexed out better than his did and he had bilstiens. My kybs kept my tires glued to the rocks. He was teetering while all my tires were still on the fround. I aint tryin to argue with ya Maurice im just tryin to give ppl other options.
