# of threads on each torsion blot?
Is it normal to have less threads (between the head of the bolt and the plate) on the drivers side then the passenger side. I realize that there is going to be a difference with more weight on the driver side...the gas tank etc but 4 1/2 on the drivers side and 10 on the passenger side.
I have B bars in mine. I don't think I will have any issues with the prekey mod since after looking under the truck my front CV shafts are straight!

Ya gotta remember too that there are manufacturing tolerances in all the parts involved: the bolt, the "nut", the stamped steel parts, the frame, all the other suspension parts, the tires, and the torsion bar itself. Plus, the torsion bar springiness will change over time (sack out) from use. So it would actually be surprising if both sides were the same.

12x80mm gr 8 bolts, thats what I was told. I have two in my possession but I just haven't gotten around to installing them. My drivers side is maxed out, pass side almost, just to handle the the weight of the camper on it (weighed it the other day, almost 1300 lbs.. ouch). I'd like to do the prekey swap but I'll probably just crank the sht out of th existing setup. LR
