No more RCD

Yeah but no one runs that for the same reason, its a garbage kit. It uses like ball joints re-locaters or something like that.

their "warranty" program was junk anyways.
yea? who makes a sas kit for rangers?
i smacked mine a few times. but unlike the torsion bars if you mangle one or rip it off its no big deal.
you can still get coil overs, and retrofit it..

The problem with SAS for me and probably others is that I don't have the time, space, knowledge or welding skills to do it. Also I don't want to be messing adjusting crap all the time because the ride is crap at certain speeds or something.

This is lame! i dont understand what is so hard about just keeping the kit available... even if its a special order type of deal. Oh well.
Magnuson-Moss Warranty act. check it:

I think some one might start developing a SAS conversion kit. Honestly.. its the BEST way to go. I believe one could be developed and marketed for less then what the inferior RCD kit offers.
RCD might have seen a once plentiful market go to such a move. SAS conversions used to be very few and far in-between.. their common now. Most of the engineering behind them is done by ' common people ' whom don't own huge fab shops. Beard did his in his garage, Griggs in his driveway..

maybe if the kit wasnt so damn expensive they would have sold a lot more. seriously what other truck cost that much to lift 5 inches.

Any of these kits will work. But it is still going to be a lot of fab work.

its almost a bolt on swap depending on the axle you use.

Super lift + B/L= 36x13.5's
http://www.setstr8.com/ Has a SAS for the ranger. I know these guys were great to work with when we lifted my Buddy's '97 F-150. He bought thier 1st SAS kit for the 97+. They also lift you on coils!
more on this later

?
we were talking about rangers.. and he brought in the F-150
Zach's reasoning was the weak ranger frame.. again, F-150s have bigger frames.. Lets see, 97... TTB.. TTB means Steering box, and I'm not sure what the newer trucks have but i think they still have a steering box?
