If you need or want new shocks I would spend the extra time and money and just convert to coil-over's. You would never get the ride quality you get from coil-over's from a conventional shock set-up.

Leaps and bounds better than stock. A Superlift is supposed to be a 3" to 4" lift and utilize torsion bars, but I have 7" of lift and coil-over's. That's why I call it a hybrid Superlift.

You have a lot of adjustability with coil-over’s. I could actually get a few more inches as my LCA’s are almost completely flat.

It deletes the T-bar system and brackets completely, and you use fox coilovers in replace of the shocks. You do have to weld in 2 gussets for support on each side of the shock tower though. Also limit straps would be needed.

It's actually a pretty simple setup, and for $600 from ORW you can't beat it. I have mine on the way along with my Superlift kit, and I'm doing something along the lines of what KLC did with his build, but I'm not sure what I'm doing with my rear end yet.

would this allow me to clear 35's with just a body lift or would it still put to much of an angle on the LCA and CV axles???

You don't need them for stock suspension

You can clear 35"s with a bl, t-bar crank, very minor trimming, and the right wheel offset. I was even running that with my stock wheels for a while. It would help to clear with a SL of course, and doing the COC would help the ride, and you have the option to adjust the front end a bit.

The coilover conversion is worth every penny. I did the Superlift and the conversion at the same time. I have never lifted a vehicle and had it improve on road handling, I was amazed

Just did the conversion on my stock height 01 4x4 edge. The ride is unreal. And I have the same ammount of lift I had when my t-bars were cranked all the way. It rides like I'm on rails. I can get more lift out of the coilovers but I'm happy with it sitting level front and rear
