2WD front lift

I was wondering why some 2WD trucks have the front higher than the back? Is it for traction offroad? Look at my sig, mine goes pretty good offroad but like any truck it's light in the back so it likes to spin. I will install new coil springs if it's for traction.

almost all lifted trucks sit higher in the front than the back.. 2wd and 4wd.... mine sat perfectly level at all four corners but looked high in the front. I dont think its any look that people are trying to achieve i just think a 4" lift on the front and a 4" lift on the back yield different results. I have 9 on the back and 8 on the front and the back of my 2wd sits ever so slightly higher now.

as i posted on RPS, theres no difference in traction, just different options yield different #'s, some people like it higher in the front, some higher in theback

people call it the "prerunner" look because sometimes the front end sits higher, and the long travel springs or 4 link doesnt give the same lift

if you want traction, get some traction bars

Is there a reason why traction bars like the lakewoods end at 2002? They all seem to be that way.
I'm looking for a bolt on only.

Will these work? I would have to think someone here has put traction bars on their 2003+ Ranger.

Get the James Duff traction bars, a couple guys on here have them and love them. There on my last of parts to get. I think the total was like 116 shipped for them.

It's the first set, the ones for 98+ Rangers

My truck sits 1 or 2 inches higher in the front. I kinda like the look. I have a 2wd, and could level the truck (cause i have torsion bars) but i like it. You don't have torsion bars???

I have an email into them. Everyone else stops at 2002 so I want to make sure these will fit. I hope so that's a good looking set. It would be nice if someone with a 2004+ would speak up they have these.
