why no one uses this lift?
i have been wondering something. i used 1f150 coil spring spacers to lift my truck since summit didnt carry one for my truck and the springs are the same width. why dont i ever hear of anyone else using this to lift their 2wd xlt's? i didnt know about it till a guy at summit thought it was a good idea and went and measures my springs. and it worked great and my truck handles WAY better.

i have them on my 01 xlt and it rides a little stiff but i need new shocks, has anyone heard of the spacers messing up your ball joints? i just got all new ball joints and the guy at the shop thought the spacers were to blame. personally i think the ball joints were just crap because you can't grease them and they had over 62000 miles on them. either way though i got about 2 and a half inches of lift out of mine. and i have 2 inch shackles in the back

I'm not sure why people are saying you get a worse ride from them. Its like changing your coil bucket to sit 2" lower. The spring rate is for the spring. The spacer does just as the name implies, only spaces those springs down. This rougher ride may been due to shocks being to short or they are just old. I'm not sure but this shouldn't effect your ride at all.

If I was to get the spacers will I need to get new uppers to fix the camber?Cause if so I'll just go with 3" lift coils that are made for our trucks.
