Pro comp brackets?
Has anyone seen the coil over brackets you can order from pro-comp that are like the RCD brackets?
I talked to Austy (astolz18) and instead of trying to get the RCD brackets for his coil over swap on his superlifted truck, he told me he went with pro comp brackets. Any help on these? I can't seem to find them! I'd like to order a set to play around with different heights, like the brackets I built. Thanks! |
I've never seen anything made by procomp that will fit the frontend of a 98-up 4x4 Ranger. :dunno:

I'll see if I can find out what he has. I know they're pro comps tho.

Those aren't going to reach. I don't know how he's going to use those now. He said they were like $30 so I guess we'll see what happens.
I did however recommend something like those for his lower mounts, bolted to the LCA then welded to it once in place and set for extra support. Austy seems to think I'll need a coil compressor when I do my new brackets to compess the coil to allow me to lower it more. I thought if all the bolts are loose on that side, I can push the whole assembly down and bolt it up and then tighten everything back up (take out the bolt for the upper ball joint, loosen the bolts that bolt the LCA to the RCD x-member, loosen the CV axle nut and pull the TRE's out til the coil is back in place). Does that sound like it'll work? |
