question about lift cost.

i have a 03 xlt supercab. Going to put a 4 inch skyjacker lift on the front, to give a 2 inch rake in the front, obviously to match my pre-run front end. I was quoted 2100 for the front end lift parts and labor.... I am new to truck lift mods, would you say this is a fair price.??? If ur answer is no, what would you think is fair...
Thanks in advance,
Rob

skyjacker on an 03?

2wd or 4x4? the 4" SUPERLIFT is very easy to install your self....so all your out is the cost of the lift.

Whoever quoted you that price, i would stay away from. First, Skyjacker doesnt make a lft for 98+ rangers, second, that seems way too much just to lift the front end even if Skyjacker did make the lift kit!

Your only options are Body lift (cheapest), Superlift (cheap), RCD (kinda expensive, harder to put on by yourself), Dixon Bros long travel (expensive!), or the Camburg Long Travel (expensive and only for 2wd!)

Its "easier" than most, but by no means is it a job that anyone can do! i figured it out, but I wouldnt go and say it was easy!

lol........well.....maybe because 2nd install is alot faster than 1st install......and maybe being mechanically inclined in vehiclulars helps out alot. no offense or anything by that.
