Questions before I lift it

I am going to be putting on my 3'' PA bodly lift this weekend on my 1993 Ranger 4x4 with a 4.0L.. THe questions I am wondering what type of leveling kit do you guys recommend with the body lift?? I was looking at the rough country coils does anybody know much about these. Also I am going to be running 33x12.5 tires do I need to re-gear?? The last question is shocks, will I need to purchase new shocks or will the ones on the truck be fine??

No idea about a leveling kit. My 99 was already level when I did the BL.

As for re-gearing. You didn't specify what gears you already had. I had 3.73s and it was fine with 33x12.5's. 4.10's would be optimal, but I didn't want to spend money to do it at the time.

Your shocks will be fine. A BL only lifts the body. The frame (and subsequently all the shock mounts) stay where they are.

Hope that helps.

Will the rough country leveling coils be fine because there about $100 cheaper than the skyjackers and the truck only sees off road during hunting and occasional mudding but nothing serious..would I need to consider any steering stabilizers because I plan on running 33x12.5 tires?

Coils are $130 from summit. Plus shocks at $45 each like Zach said. Plus alignment cams and an alignment.

You will be pleased with the skyjacker coils!

and your question about re-gearing, it sounds like you have the same truck as me and I've ran 33s with the 4.0 and 3.73s for years now without any major drawbacks. There is a noticable deduction in power from going stock to larger tires, but you will be fine for what you're doing with it

Cody,
As for the rear shock can you help me out with which ones I should oreder??? Also if I decide to leave my 31x10.5 tires on that are on it now due to costs do I still need to do an alignment when i lift it? I know the catser cambers were replaced when I had the truck aligned when I installed my 31's by my local tire shop.

here is the rears you will need.

As for the alignment anytime you take the front end apart or replace coils you should get one.

Lets get this starterd,

The rough country coils are the same as other coils. I have a set on my truck, they work fine and leveled my truck out. Now as for the alignment, it doesn't matter what size tires you have one there it will need an alignment. Just get the camber bushings that have 0-4 adjustment so they can get the alignment right.
