I'm in the process of putting a 4'' lift on my truck and got stuck. I can't get my front coil off the retaining clip on the bottom. The top came off fine but I can't fit a wrench in there to remove the bolt to the retaining clip. Any ideas? I believe it's a 1 and 1/8'' bolt. Have people used wrenches for this bolt before? I appreciate the help...

1997, it was a 1 and 1/8''. I had to buy a reese hitch tool but I finally got them off. Thanks

 

i just used a big pair of vice grips and a hammer
