Ranger 4x4 long travel

New guy here...
I didn’t find what I was looking for when searching.

I’m leaning towards BTF. I like their 5” arms, 18” wheel travel using Rcv axles and comes with a knuckle assembly to accept a D44 spindle/hub.

Anyone run this?
2.5”x10 600# coilovers.

Does anyone make a chromoly knuckle to replace the stock setup or is there something close like what BTF makes to beef up the knuckle and wheel hub?

thanks!

Ended up going with the standard long travel. Best option for the bucks. My son and I are installing the 4.5” arms this weekend. Got them painted.

Issues were typical but nothing out of the ordinary. Keep in mind this kit deletes all stock components. Longer A arms, steering and axle shafts. Lots of grinding and welding required to add coilovers.

We had a few set backs lately and we’re working on it again. I need to make sure my son is involved so it can be a slow go. We’re Almost done with the front. We ran into a snag with the 99 knuckles running the 05 hubs. Once I get to a wrecking yard to pull some 03-11 knuckles, we will be back in business. The 99 rotors are the issue as they are sloppy on a 05 hub due to the stud sizes. The upside to this is a slightly larger rotor and the newer knuckles are spaced so we can still use the 99 calipers. So they say... we shall see and I’ll keep you posted.

Got the 05 knuckles and rotors. The knuckle is offset to accommodate the larger rotor and I can use my 99 calipers. We will need 05 brake dust shields. The knuckle seal is the same on a 05 & 99 but there is a inner seal that has to be added in for 05 which I have but I don’t like multiple parts.
I got the upper arms in tonight. That was a battle!
